This is my 13th Barbie customization inspired by Amy Winehouse’s style, completed around April of 2024. I used a Simba Disney Princess base doll, whom I modified to hace a bigger waist. At first, I was afraid that not using a Barbie body would cause me crative issues, but thankfully I was proven wrong! The end result really worth it. This is also the first time I drawn Amy’s “Hello Sailor” and Betty Boop tattoo -the later was rarely seen and it was very hard to find close up photos of it. Another highlight of this custom is the exceptionaly detailed cartoony pip toe shoes -originally made by the designer Terry de Havilland. So proud of my work ❤
